I think I've finally got a decent picture of a ruby eyed lacewing ... it was sitting on a door frame inside the house so I had something steady to rest the camera on. I love these little critters as they are so unusual! You can enlarge the photo by clicking on it. Hope your week is travelling well!

What an incredible insect. The wings really do look like gauzy lace.
