It rained yesterday which was so wonderful after the last 5 days of fire! Yes, the fire was close - as close as 1km away on Tuesday (all I can say to that is thank goodness our neighbour keeps his pasture short!!!!). The same fire has been burning since Saturday so I'm kinda hoping that the 10.5mm of rain we had yesterday has helped to simmer anything still smouldering! Anyway ... I stood out in the rain and then played in one of the wee puddles we had! To enlarge images, just click on them. I'm off to work now ... hope your week is going well!

Yeah Rain! Boy, that fire was very close. Hope it rains a bit every day!
