Was thinking this morning that it has been a while since I've mentioned my FIL (father in law). He's doing ok actually. He was quite sick earlier this year and ended up losing 20kgs! He kept complaining of a sore leg and eventually they removed a small apple sized infection from his right leg!!! Until the leg healed properly he wasn't doing chemo and he managed to gain at least half of those 20kgs again. He started chemo 2 weeks ago and hopefully had his 3rd last treatment today. He looks so much better now he is not fighting the infection - even the chemo isn't knocking him around so much. All going well he'll have his last chemo treatment in a month's time and will be well & truly on the way to recovery!
Got a phone call from Damian's OT today ... the OS had another look at his latest xray and is now concerned that he has tendon damage to his finger so we have to be in Subiaco by 8.45am Friday morning (so happy about that NOT ) for an ultrasound. We then have another appointment with the OS at 2.15pm ... 5 hours to kill. Hopefully it'll just be something that will heal in time and won't require surgery ... I guess only time will tell.
Ok - back to work. Just waiting on a phone call so I can finish an order.
