Thought I'd better come in here and do a quick update on Damian's finger.
As I mentioned the other day Damian was required to have an ultrasound done on his finger and then go back to see the surgeon again. Thankfully it's a non-operative problem ... well, the surgeon said he could operate however he could also make the problem worse. Currently Damian can make a nice tight fist however when his hand is straightened the tip of his finger droops somewhat. The surgeon said it was more important that he be able to create the fist over having a straightened finger and we totally agree. Essentially what he has done is shortened his finger by about 1mm or so and now the tendons are too long ... hence the droop!
Can't remember if I've posted the above card before or not ... don't think I have. It's a case from Splitcoast - will post the link later.
Mum & Dad rang today. I think they said they are in Minnie Creek - half way between Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour - they plan to stay for a week as it's really nice & quiet and warm! They only thing they hear at night is the ocean ... wonderful.
Ok ... best go. Damian is heading back to school this afternoon. We have a mini sundowner to attend - which is always good as you get to catch up with various people.

Good news about DJs finger Chelle - as in having to operate.
