The dreaded BAS

Finally finished the BAS today ... not before time I might add. Nothing like leaving things to the last minute.

Anyway - wanted to post a couple of cards that I made yesterday and do another update on Damian's finger. Damian had another appointment with his OT on Friday. Unfortunately his usual OT was off sick and we saw another lovely lady by the name of Sarah. Sarah decided that Damian should wear a different type of splint and what she made is so much better in the sense that it's just worn on the pinkie with the fracture. Small problem with this one though - it's coming off at night so I rang & spoke to Anna-Lisa today (his usual OT) and she just said to wear the original one at night. Problem solved!
Had my first SU demonstrator workshop on Saturday and I think it all went ok, even learnt a couple of things along the way! The ladies enjoyed making the cards, Annette - the wonderful hostie with the mostie - got some freebies and I have 2 ladies interested in hosting some more workshops! What more can I say. If any one is interested in hosting a Stampin' UP! workshop I have several 'themes' going for May & June.
10 for 10 - make 10 cards for $10 (per workshop guest)
Asian cards - make Asian themed cards along with a sticky note holder
Technique spotlight - Embossing
Technique spotlight - Backgrounds
My cousin Jo, her hubby Nick (several other family members & friends) have spent the last month getting Nick's new shop ready for opening this Friday. By trade Nick is a Tattoo artist so if you are in the Perth metro area and are up for some new tattoos try - The Darkside Tattooing - Unit 14, 7-9 Goddard St in Rockingham. PH: 9527 3999
Jo is getting her first tattoo ... supposed to be before the shop opens but we'll see. Good luck Jo!
That's it from me for today.
Ciao for now
Chelle

If you are ever in need of an extra person just to fill a seat here in the Metro for the 10 for 10 let me know - I'd like to do one of them. I think it would be a great little socialiser.
