The happy wanderers phoned today. They are camped out on the oval at Mt. Gambier, just off the Victorian border at the moment ... enjoying the cooler coastal breezes as temperatures are up around the 38-40°c mark in South Australia at the moment. Much different to the 22-25°c we are currently enjoying in WA! The rate that they are travelling they will be back here in WA well & truly in time for Christmas! Maybe they will slow down though once north of Victoria as they haven't been anywhere much north of Victoria - only one town in NSW as far as I can remember.

Only 18 more days till I go on the Scrapboxx retreat ... not that I am keen or excited to be having my first time off for over 2 years! The Scrapboxx website is alive with chatter regarding the retreat - it's going to be wonderful to be able to put faces to names to so many of the Boxx girls! I can hardly contain myself - OK it doesn't sound like it at the moment however I've had a particularly long day ... have a sale on at the moment so the craft business has been BUSY!

No art work today - was going to play with my new hotplate yesterday & create something new in Encaustic however when I unpacked it - the original European plug was all that was in the box ... boo hoo

7.14pm - Time to cook something for dinner.

Life begins the day you start a garden ... Chinese Proverb.
