This fellow was awesome - his colours so vibrant and instead of running he let me share some wonderful time in his presence! I believe it to be a Gould's Monitor ... he was about 60cm-70cm or so in length so still has some growing to do as they do reach lengths of around 150cm! Would love to see a full grown specimen!
