Saw this great sketch at Pat's Stamp, Paper & Ink blogspot last night - it's Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday Sketch & Challenge - cool huh! Anyway I was in need of a baby girl card and love the sketch so combined the two to come up with this It's a Girl Card. The 'twist' on this week's sketch is to use ribbon! I didn't use much but I did use some! I've just realised that my colours on my card almost match the sketch ... how bizarre! lol
DSP = Spring Flowers, Cardstock = Barely Banana, Cameo Coral & Whisper White; Ink = Stazon Black, Cameo Coral, Blush Blossom (for inking on Whisper White cardstock but I don't think it shows up so well in the photo). Accessories - Ribbon SU Sweet Shop and a couple of clear dew drops!
Had to give that SCS SC225 card sketch another go - it's such a great sketch to work with! Made this one for my cousin's boy Sean who is turning 11 next week. Boys are so hard to make cards for!
Products used: No Stamps! DSP = Summer Picnic, Cardstock = Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss, & Confetti White. Ink = Chocolate Chip. S monogram = non SU Prima chipboard alphabets

Oh my goodness, you did a fabulous job on both cards.
I agree; it is so hard to make masculine cards. Sean's card is perfect. Bet he loves it!
Chelle, you stork image is one of my favorite. Love the clean design and barely banana with cameo coral. Am going to have to give that a try! Thanks so much for playing in this week's challenge. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great job with both sketches!
Nice cards, I agree about boy cards. There is not too much to make for boys, or men either. My husband likes to read, and bust peoples cojones at work. What kind of card does one make for that???
Your cards are really cute! wonderful work on the sketches...tfs!!!
Both cards are just great!
Fabulous job!
Peace and Luv,
Jeannie
Wow! I love both of these cards, Chelle! You NAILED the Shirley's 2 Girls sketch - love that sweet stork image and your ribbon is the perfect touch. Thanks so much for playing!!
Wow you really did nail this Sketch Challenge to a "T".... Literally, too funny, I had to go back and check out how you even got the colors from the sketch itself. Very clever. Good Luck and I look forward to seeing you again this week.
Hi Chelle, Received your card today. Thank you. :) Much appreciated.
