Well, I really don't know where the time goes these days! I can't believe that it has been nearly two weeks since I last blogged. Hmmm, the time snitch is getting cheeky and stealing more time each day I am sure of it.
Only a few days now till Easter. If nothing else I am really looking forward to the break of 4 days. It's been kinda hectic the last few weeks (obviously - no blogging!) and it might even give me enough of a chance to clean up around the house somewhat. Yeah, the washing gets done, the floor gets swept/washed but I usually end up with little piles of 'stuff' everywhere and that is what needs sorting. I've been working on uploading new products to our wholesale website and of course once the products are scanned & uploaded they end up on the floor here .... somewhere. Note to self - must start changing old habits!
Ok - Mum & Dad have really enjoyed Tasmania the last couple of weeks and as of Monday morning they were back on mainland Australia. They were stopping in Barnesdale (?) or somewhere like that for 2 nights before heading off to Lakes Entrance. I remember that we have been there before when we were wee little tackers but don't really remember anything of it. Back to Tasmania. M&D stopped in Hobart for the first week as their home base. They travelled around to Port Arthur, Russell Falls and visited the Salamanca Markets and several other places - which I can't remember now... They then headed up to Launceston for a week and toured the northern half of Tassie before setting sail Sunday evening. Despite the fact that they were both cold Mum said the scenery well & truly made up for that! I think they are glad that (and I am glad that they did) they spent the money and saw what they did!
We've had a few dramas this last week.
Drama #1 - Damian went in for a catch at cricket training last Tuesday and ended up with a broken pinkie! He didn't think it was that bad so didn't go to the health centre on campus unil the following day and didn't ring us until the following day either. Anyway - the campus nurse sent Damian off to see the Dr on Thursday morning where he had an xray to confirm the fracture. He had a follow up appointment with the Dr Monday morning and is now going to see an Orthopaedic surgeon on Thursday. The fracture runs lengthwise down his bone and the Dr was worried that it could possibly run into the knuckle so wants the surgeon to look at it. He may have to have his finger wire wrapped (?) or something like that!
Drama #2 - Brian was trampled by a cow on Sunday! He is ok I will add, albeit a tad sore!! Really don't know what overcome the cows but they got spooked by something as we were loading them onto the truck to send to the auction yards and she just went wild!! She busted open a gate that Brian was holding shut and knocked him for a 6. The gate caught his elbow and Brian's head hit the ground rather hard (just as well the yards are only sandy!!) and she then proceeded to stop on his good ankle. Ho hum.
As for me ... well I am AOK. I am now off to make some cards and recipe cards for swaps I am in and write and Stampin' UP! newsletter of sorts.
Drop me a line sometime!
Chelle xx
