Isn't it wonderful - the last few times we've been down to the soak so the dogs can have a swim we've had 20 or so dragonflies flittering around but never stopping long enough to have their photo taken. Today there were only 2 and this one sat long enough for me to take this photo!

Spoke quickly to mum & dad today - they've been at my cousin Lorraine's house for the weekend - nice relaxing few days. Yesterday they went to Echuca - wonderful place for steam paddle boats on the Murray & history! Today they headed down to Doncaster (east of Melbourne) & booked into a caravan park. I guess they will be there for the next week, maybe, to visit with Mum's sister Eileeen, and my other cousins & their families - Karen & Peter.

We have another hottie today - a balmy 43 or so - as is forecast for tomorrow. I SO look forward to it ... NOT. I seriously want my air con fixed ... been without it for 6 weeks or more now.

Brian dented my car yesterday!!! "horror". We clipped a rather large roo on our road last night coming home - thankfully it was only the drivers side - side panel and not head on. Being such a large bugger he would've left a fair dent!

Only 2 more sleeps before I take off to the Scrapboxx scrapbooking retreat ... can't wait!! Would be more enthusiastic but the heat is getting me down a bit ... draining my energy.

Off to another somewhat cooler room now ... it's far too hot in this box tonight.
