An earlier encaustic piece ...

An earlier encaustic piece - I created this one as a house warming gift for my cousin's new home. This one was for one of her sons - Sean. He is/was made keen on blue & yellow - very hard to work with together as when they combine you get green! It looked much better when framed & hanging on a wall :-))

Has been quite hot over the weekend with today reaching a balmy 44.9°c! I so don't do heat anymore ... roll on autumn!!!

I did have a play with the encaustic today however I've not had time to scan & upload. Been working on small pieces to use for cards - trying to be more organised this year and not miss anyone's birthdays. I missed so many last year!!
Another resolution for the new year - be organised & on time with birthday cards etc!
Ok - 6.36pm - time to find something for dinner. Get the orders organised that I need to drop off to craft customers tomorrow & get the washing in.
