What a fab day it was for the Perth leg of the World Wide Photography Walk on Saturday. The weather was just right, around 20°c, light cloud and most importantly no rain. We started at the Perth Concert Hall - you certainly see things much differently walking than you do when driving the same route! From here we headed west on St Georges Tce stopping and starting as we saw things that caught our eye. From St Georges Tce we headed north up Cathedral Ave, east along Hay St, north again on Pier St, east on Murray St until we hit Victoria Square. Along the way we stoped at Government House, St Andrew's Church, the Playhouse Theatre, St George's Cathedral, the Criterion Hotel, Miss Mauds, spending most of our time at St Mary's Cathedral. Once we'd exhausted our photo opportunities here we headed back to the Duxton for a very welcoming coffee. Normally I don't alter my photos much in any way except for some slight cropping however I've had a bit of a play around with my photos from Saturday and these are probably my two favourite shots so far. I still have a little bit of editing to do on a couple of other shots. The masks are on the wall of the Playhouse Theatre & the crosses are those that sit atop of St Mary's Cathedral. I will add a few more shots over the next week. Hope your week is a good one & thanks for stopping by!
